Fragtide Return & Exchange Policy

Effective Date: 08/11/2025

At Fragtide, every lid is built to order and precision-cut for your specific tank. We take pride in delivering a perfect fit and premium finish. Because of the custom nature of our products, we handle returns and exchanges differently than off-the-shelf items.

Custom Orders

  • All custom lids, engraved products, and items with inlays are final sale and non-returnable, except in cases of manufacturing defect or damage during transit.
  • Once a design file is approved and production begins, changes or cancellations cannot be made.

Standard Items & Accessories

  • Standard-size lids or accessories (not customized) may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition.
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error.

Defective or Damaged Items

  • If your lid arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • Email support@fragtide.com with your order number, photos of the item, and a description of the issue.
  • Once approved, we’ll remake or replace the item at no cost to you.

Fit Guarantee

We guarantee your lid will fit your tank if the measurements and tank details you provide are correct. If a fit issue arises due to our error, we’ll replace or adjust the lid free of charge.

How to Start a Return or Claim

  1. Email support@fragtide.com within the stated time frame.
  2. Include:
    • Order number
    • Photos of the item (and packaging if damaged in shipping)
    • A description of the issue
  3. Wait for confirmation and return instructions from our support team.

Exclusions

  • No returns or refunds for:
    • Incorrect measurements provided by the customer
    • Damage from improper installation or use
    • Normal wear and tear, including minor surface scratches from cleaning
  • Clearance items are final sale.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned item.
